NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
AND HEARING OF COMPLAINTS
(PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of Jackson, Washington County, New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy thereof has been filed with Molly Dixson, Town Clerk, where it may be seen and examined by any person interested therein until the fourth Tuesday in May.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the roll at the Town of Jackson Town Hall located at 2355 State Route 22, Cambridge on:
Friday, May 2nd: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Friday, May 9th: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday, May 17th by appointment
Wednesday, May 21st: 10:00am – 2:00pm
The Board of Assessment Review will meet from 4:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 27th in said Town of Jackson to hear complaints in relation to assessments of real property.
A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s office.
