The Planning Board’s April meeting date will be changed to Tuesday, April 16th at 6:30 pm. This change is due to the Primary Election falling on April 2nd.

NOTICE CONCERNING THE
EXAMINATION OF ASSESSMENT INVENTORY
AND VALUATION DATA
NOTICE is hereby given that assessment inventory and valuation data is available for examination and review at the Town of Jackson Assessors office. This data is the information which will be used to establish the assessment of each parcel which will appear on the tentative assessment roll of 2024 which will be filed on or before May 1st. The information may be reviewed, by appointment, in the Assessor’s office at the Jackson Town Hall located at 2355 State Route 22 Cambridge, NY 12816 on April 26th between the hours of 3pm and 6pm. An appointment to review the assessment information may be made by telephoning the assessor at (518) 796-9183.
NOTICE FOR BIDS
The Town of Jackson, Washington County is seeking bids for the construction of a storage addition on the south side of the Jackson Town Hall located at 2355 State Route 22, Cambridge. Engineered drawings with building specifications have been developed and are available at the Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours. Bids will be received at the office of the Town Clerk until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. Sealed bids will be opened and read at the regular board meeting on May 1st at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall. All bids must include a non-collusive certificate. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
NOTICE OF CHANGE OF ASSESSMENT
A publication – Contesting your Assessment in New York State – is available at the assessor’s office. If you have any questions, you may telephone the assessor’s office at 518-796-9183. The assessor(s) will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll at the Jackson Town Hall on the following days:
May 1st between 8:30am-12:30pm
May 4th between 3:00pm-7:00pm
May 10th between 4:00pm-8:00pm
May 14th between 4:00pm-8:00pm
Grievance Day is May 28th. The Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Jackson Town Hall at 2355 State Route 22 Cambridge, NY 12816 between the hours of 4:00pm-8:00pm, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessment, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved. Please call the Town Clerk at 518-677-0356 ahead of this date to schedule an appointment to grieve.
