Brand New Beginning Youth Center (Youth Home)
In recent weeks, residents have been very concerned about the youth homes proposed for teenage males in the Town of Jackson (Cambridge School District) and for teenage females in the Town of Hebron (Salem School District). *THURSDAY, MARCH 30st* – FINAL DAY to pay taxes at Town Clerk’s Office (8 am-1pm). If paying by mail, valid U.S. postmarks of March 31st will be honored.  EXCEPTION: Bill Payment Processing Centers do NOT use U.S. Postal Service postmarks therefore payments MUST arrive to the Town Clerk’s Office by March 31st or earlier to be considered an on-time payment.  Real Property Tax Law 925 states the following:
If the postmark does not appear on such wrapper or the postmark is illegible such payment shall be deemed to have been made on the date of delivery to such collecting officer.
